Fixed Gear begins to take shape

I went to the swap meet and bought a few items to start putting together
this bike. The bar is a Sakai Road Champion, Chrome Steel, heavy, $5.

I also got a stem to go with it, also $5.
The third item was a Crank and bottom bracket Shimano RX100 with 42T Chanring 170mm cranks.
Hopefully the bottom bracket will work, not sure how they will go together yet.
I still need a front brake (or is that wimpy) - Should I look for a used
one or buy new? A front wheel might help also. I will buy a new chain and have Bike Doctor build a wheel with a Formula flip hub with a 16T and 15T cog on each side. This should with 700×25 tires, give 69.2 and 73.9 Gear Inches. At 120RPM speeds of 24.7MPH and 26.4MPH. Any other suggestions?
Take a look at the photos:
The wheels are from the Lemond and are just to show what it would look like. I think I may assemble now and paint later.
